Dr. Aparna Govil Bhasker is a General, Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgeon associated with Saifee, Namaha and Apollo Spectra Hospitals in Mumbai. She is extremely passionate about patient care and believes that diet plays a very important role in overall health. As a doctor who deals with patients with obesity on a daily basis, she emphasizes on holistic care for weight management. She is committed to patient education and has many books to her credit. She is an invited faculty in many national and international meetings and has published many research papers. She is the course director of the prestigious "Advanced Bariatric Nutrition Course" that has been instrumental in training nutritionists in the nuances of bariatric nutrition over the last 3 years. She is also an organizing committee member of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of India. In addition to being a surgeon, Dr. Bhasker runs a charitable organization called AuroMira Care foundation along with her better half, Mr. C B Bhasker.
Ms. Mariam Lakdawala is a registered dietician and an experienced bariatric nutritionist. She has worked as a team member of Dr. Bhasker for last 5 years.
