Somdev Chattopadhyay

Somdev Chattopadhyay was born in Katihar, a district town in Bihar. He spent his childhood in a Rail colony and did his early schooling in 'Netaji Vidyamandir'. On the occasion of the celebration of Netaji's Birth anniversary every year, the usual prayer of the students was that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose would come back. Despite having a glorious past, the school is now unfortunately closed due to a shortage of Bengali medium students and a crisis of funds.

Though Somdev is a Management research scholar, he chose to explore lesser-known facts about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army. This is his third non-fiction book after 'Hunting Hitler' and 'The Nilganj Massacre' and the second in the Netaji and the I.N.A. series.
