Thousands of Indian National Army PoWs in WW II were transported from the war fronts to Jhikargacha. From there, many of them were shifted to the Nilganj Detention Camp near Barrackpore.

The British and American intelligence was clueless about the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for the second time but the I.N.A. PoWs firmly believed that 'Netaji is alive'.
All of a sudden, on the night of September 25, 1945, the British Army opened indiscriminate firing upon the unarmed I.N.A. PoWs in the Nilganj Camp.
Why did they want to finish the most dedicated 'Black' and 'Special Black' I.N.A. soldiers? How many PoW soldiers got killed in the firing? Did that outnumber the Jallianwala Bagh massacre? How the Nilganj killings intensified the Indian national movement? Most surprisingly, how the brutal incident was completely hidden in the history of the freedom struggle?
THE NILGANJ MASSACRE is an explosive non-fiction book to address the heinous war crime committed by the British Army in India.

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose left the Congress and took up the path of freeing India by raising an army through a wartime collaboration with the help of Axis powers. Some of the Hindu princes were also thinking on the same line. It was agreed that Hindu princes would back Adolf Hitler during World War II and Hitler would support India in its freedom struggle. The pact was kept a well-guarded secret.
But at the end of World War II, what happened to Hitler? Many sources claim that he didn’t die in his underground Berlin bunker on 30th April 1945. FBI claims that Hitler didn’t commit suicide and DNA tests conducted on the skull of Hitler provide evidence that the skull was not of Hitler’s but a woman in her 40s. Another source claims that Hitler escaped with his wife Eva Braun. A conspiracy theory suggests the Nazi dictator may have actually taken sanctuary after the war in remote Kashmir in India, where he breathed his last and is buried in an unknown grave.
There is a strange similarity in the possible escape plan of Hitler and Bose to an undisclosed destination. The 'Hunting Hitler' revolves around many unbelievable threads.

Poet Somdev Chattopadhyay has gradually emerged as a remarkable human face. He repeatedly questions the reader with the stroke of his pen. The poet gratefully remembers the heroes of the freedom struggle and their comrades-in-arms. He protests against exploitations. The fire of nationalism and patriotism in his consciousness is undeniable. In 'PANGONG HRODER DHARE', the poet speaks of self-sacrifice, revolution and armed resistance for the country in need. This collection claims a special place over time.
