Sayan Dey teaches at the Department of Mass Communication, Mizoram University. He received his doctoral degree in the domain of New Media and Hybrid Culture. His research interests include Youth and Media, Social Media and Political Communication, Digital Culture. He has published his research works in reputed and indexed journals apart from presenting a number of research papers both nationally and internationally. He is a recipient of several state and national levels awards for research and academic writing. He has authored and edited a number of books.
