In a planet, far far away from earth, flows a river, splitting through a huge ocean. On one side is the kingdom of Vaseegaranadu, with the strength of turtles. It's mesmerising Emarald palace is fortified by a spellbinding wall and is guarded by twin headed crocodiles.
On the other side of the river, is the kingdom of Koranadu, with the strength of crabs.
Overcome by the insatiable desire to capture the enticing Vaseegaranadu, Koranadu's king Vadumaran, plots along with his sinister confidant, Porimudi, who sketches various extravagant war tactics. Battle after battle, Vadumaran inches closer to victory.
But, at the cusp of victory, things take an unexpected turn when the Commander of Koranadu, Senganal, deflects to fight against Vadumaran.
What made Senganal forsake his own army? Will he succeed in saving Vaseegaranadu or will the twin armies prevail?

ஐயா அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்களின் உந்துதலால் எழுத்துத்துறைக்குள் நுழைந்த சமுரவின் முதல் நாவலான ‘செம்மாரி’ வாசகர்களிடையே மிகுந்த வரவேற்ப்பைப் பெற்றது. ஆடுபுலி ஆட்டத்தை மையமாக வைத்து எழுதப்பட்ட விறுவிறுப்பான அக்கதையைச் சில முன்னணி எழுத்தாளர்களும் படித்துப் பாராட்டினர். ‘சிலிக்கான்புரம்’ என்ற சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பையும் எழுதிருக்கிறார். அதைக் குறும்படமாக எடுக்க சிலர் ஆர்வம் காட்டியுள்ளனர். சென்னையை சேர்ந்த சமுர, மென்பொருள் துறையைச் சார்ந்த ஒரு தனியார் நிறுவனத்தில் இயக்குநராகச் செயலாற்றி வருகிறார்.
Inspired deeply by Dr. Abdul Kalam, writer Samura stepped into the literary world. His first novel, 'Semmaari', which was based on the game of Tigers & Lambs, was widely welcomed by the people, critics, and other noted novelists. He has also written a collection of short stories, 'Siliconpuram', which was successful as well. Few directors have even expressed their desire to produce short films based on it.
Based in Chennai, Samura is a software engineer by profession, currently working as a director of a private concern.
