I am acquainted with Dr. Dinesh Pathak ‘Shashi’ and his writings for about thirty years. Dr Dinesh Pathak ‘Shashi’s name needs no introduction in the world of literature. I have read almost all of his children’s literature. I have written the introduction of his children’s novel – ‘KITTY’ too.
Dinesh selects his plot for his children’s stories, from the surrounding environment. While reading his stories we start entering the spirit of the characters. They seem very familiar to us.
The language style of his stories appeals not only children but also young and adults.
Children’s story collection – “ THANK YOU MAM ” consists of six stories. Dr Dinesh Pathak has not given any direct lesson but I am quite sure that these stories will impart a great lesson not only to children but to the youngsters and their parents too.

Publication of stories, children's stories, short stories, reviews, satires and articles in newspapers and magazines of the country and abroad since 1975 and broadcasting of works from All India Radio and Doordarshan since 1980.
3 stories included in Hindi syllabus of class-1,4 and 6. A short film has been made on a children's story.
Agra University Dr. Shikha Tomar did her Ph.D. has earned the degree of
Awarded/awarded by more than three dozen institutions including Premchand and Lal Bahadur Shastri Award of Government of India and Shridhar Pathak-nominated award of UP Hindi Sansthan Lucknow and Amrit Lal Nagar Bal Katha Samman.
