According to the author certain basic principles make our life beautiful. In the present days we are deviating from these principles. As a result even though we have many things in our life we are unable to solve basic problems of our life. A few of these principles are shown in the stories published in this book.
Purnendu Ghosh
Born in 1955 at Chandernagore in West Bengal. Effect of Nonchalant environment and closeness of nature by the side of river Ganga in his life are reflected in few stories in this book. Living in a poor family he faced turbulence quite off and on. Sensitivity of his mind and heart are reflected in the characters of the stories in their pain and pleasure. During seventies he remained unperturbed in political turmoil, anarchism in educational field in the state and continued his studies. Scientist Purnendu also is attracted by Indian spiritual thought giving rise to book “Jagriti”, a compilation of his articles based on the thoughts of great souls such as Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda – a publication highly acclaimed by others.
