Dr. Anuradha Iyer is a Professor and Head of the Department of Physiology at SHKM Govt Medical College, Nalhar, Nuh, Haryana, and has been teaching medical students for more than 30 years. She is a spiritual seeker and has been practising body visualisation and relaxation techniques of meditation for the past 14 years. In this book, she describes the entire technique of this meditation in detail and also talks about her own experiences with meditation. She is also a Hindustani classical singer and sings devotional songs. She is married to a chemical engineer and has a 21-year-old son. She has authored four books before this, Krishnapriya, Little Ms Death, Samarpan and The Power of Om Namah Shivaya.
Dr. Ashima Das is a Professor in the Department of Anatomy at SHKM Govt Medical College, Haryana. In addition to educating medical students on the exquisite intricacies of the human body, she is a prolific researcher with 30 publications in both international and national indexed journals. She also serves as a reviewer for journals and is a member of the National Advisory Board for Inderbir Singh’s textbooks of Human Histology and Human Embryology. Her contribution as a co-author of this book marks her initial foray into writing, utilising her extensive knowledge of the subject to enhance the reader’s imaginative abilities for visualising the body during meditation practice.
