Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalA fifty-year-old widow, Devika Sanyal fights free from the shadows of a shackled and loveless marriage and from the accepted societal norms to find herself and her true love.
Mona Banerjee
Srilata Banerjee.
Srilata started writing at a young age, but this is the first time it has appeared in print. Her family and teachers encouraged her to be free-thinking and proud of being a woman, even in the days when boys were considered the superior gender. This is reflected in her story, that a woman can be herself even when she is no longer a ‘young person.’
Apart from writing and reading, art and music are an intrinsic part of Srilata’s life.
Srilata prefers to use her ‘nickname’—Mona.
