Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn September 1946, it was reported that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was seen in the North West Frontier Province. Pandit Nehru rushed to the Frontier on his 'fact-finding and goodwill mission' for the tribals. He sent V. K. Krishna Menon on a special secret mission to meet one of Stalin's closest allies and Soviet Minister of Foreign Affairs, V. M. Molotov.
Next year, surprisingly the former INA Commanders led a Frontier tribal attack on Kashmir. Pandit Nehru was clueless, fearing a third alternative was evolving. Maharaja Hari Singh had sought help and soon Kashmir acceded to India. Indian Army was then sent to protect Kashmir from the invaders.

'Open the Way to Kashmir' is a research-based book to explore an unknown history,
Somdev Chattopadhyay
Somdev Chattopadhyay was born in Katihar, a district town in Bihar. He spent his childhood in a Rail colony and did his early schooling in 'Netaji Vidyamandir'. On the occasion of the celebration of Netaji's Birth anniversary every year, the usual prayer of the students was that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose would come back. Despite having a glorious past, the school is now unfortunately closed due to a shortage of Bengali medium students and a crisis of funds.
Though Somdev is a Management research scholar, he chose to explore lesser-known facts about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army. This is his third non-fiction book after 'Hunting Hitler' and 'The Nilganj Massacre' and the second in the Netaji and the I.N.A. series.
