Arunima Hoskote, the editor of India Beckons, has been writing and editing professionally for 20 years. She is also the founding editor of the magazine. She is a Cambridge University and Mumbai University alumna. Aside from looking after the magazine, she runs a content writing firm and also writes poetry. Her poems have been published in the well-known literary journal Muse India.
She is a travel and food enthusiast and is deeply devoted to the preservation of culture, heritage, and environment. Following her passion for travel and heritage, she launched the magazine to showcase India's heritage to the world.
