V. Sundararaju
Born into an agricultural family in Vairichettipalayam, Trichy, V. Sundararaju served in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department for more than 36 years in various capacities such as Forest Range Officer, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Regional Manager, Divisional Forest Officer, Deputy Conservator of Forests and District Forest Officer until he retired from service in 2011.
The author is known for writing scientific articles on the ‘Down To Earth’ website as a blogger. The eight-time author continues to write and publish scientific articles while being a consultant for the Society for Social Forestry Research and Development Tamil Nadu (SSFRDT). He also serves as the President of the forum Society for Conservation of Nature (SOFCON).
