Madhavi Johnson
Madhavi is an itinerant traveler, respectful of social interactions and cultures. Madhavi was born in Chennai, she spent her early years in New Delhi and Kitwe. She worked with UNICEF for almost two decades and lived in India, Indonesia, Namibia, Timor-Leste, and New York. She is deeply committed to social and gender justice, and uses her experiences in a variety of cultural and social contexts to write fiction and non-fiction.
Madhavi lives in Melbourne, paints, writes and mentors young people from developing countries.
