Mr. P. A. Ramachandran from Panikkan parambil Houe, Kattoor village, Thrissur, Kerala, is an engineer by profession. A graduate in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, he did his post-graduations from the Indian Institute of Hygiene & Public Health (Kolkata) and the California State University, USA. Mr. Ramachandran was also a Fellow of the World Health Organization (WHO) during 1980-1981.
Mr. Ramachandran has worked as an Engineer with the Kerala PWD & Kerala Water Authority, as the Regional Engineer of Kerala State Pollution Control Board, as the Registrar of CWRDM, as a Consultant for Ganga Action Plan, as the Head of the Environment & Safety Department, govt. of Dubai, as the Senior Controller of Pollution in the Ministry of Environment, Oman, and as a Lead Auditor for TUV-NORD, Germany. His core expertise is in Environmental management system preparation for industrial and development projects.
