Chinmay Chakravarty
Hailing from a writers’ family in Assam, Chinmay Chakravarty has been writing since his school days. A post-graduate from the Delhi School of Economics, he started his career as a freelance journalist and then joined the Indian Information Service. During his tenure of more than three decades in the media sector of the Government of India, he has written and edited Newsletters, News Bulletins and three Film Festival main books, apart from his news-stories, articles and short stories published across newspapers, periodicals, e-zines, blogs and others.
For the last few years, Chinmay Chakravarty has been sort of specializing in humor writings. His book Laugh and Let Laugh was published in 2017 by Notion Press. He lives with his classical-vocalist wife in Mumbai, and also in Kolkata and Guwahati occasionally.
