Dr. Karabi Konch
Dr. Karabi Konch is an Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon Assam. The areas of her interest are Criminology and Penology, Sociology of Indian Society and Social Psychology.
She has completed her Ph.D. Degree from Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh Assam, with a specialization in Criminology. She has received University Rank Holder Fellowship from UGC and a doctoral fellowship from the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) for the same. Her first book, Crime and Society, was published in the year 2017 by Notion Press. She has also published a good number of articles and research papers in national and international sociology journals and souvenirs. She has also participated in conferences, workshops and symposiums in different disciplines.
