Her poetic diction betrays a rare lyrical fluidity matched by very few poets of the day. "Younas's simplicity in versification is delightfully deceptive. Underlying the placid and transparent text is a hidden core of meaning that the French film critic Jean Mitry, on reading into it, would have presumably characterised as the type and symbol of higher language."

"Sunita Grover Raina, an Indian poet writing in English, is a name to reckon with as a poet of the finest sensibility, whose poetry is a mosaic of vivid imagery and sensuous impressions, with frequent forays into an understated philosophy. Her ease with simple phrasing, her dense texture of metaphorical echoes, and the limpid flow of her mellifluous lines make her poetry a delectable read. Her debut book of poetry, titled “Sunny Rainbow" I believe, will stand out as a milestone in the contemporary literary journey of Indian English poetry."
- Dr Jay Sankar Basu Poet, Associate Professor of ELT CLTCS, NSOU.
"Sunita Grover Raina, a poet of originality, candid feelings and truth wrapped in the attire of beauty is a rising star on the horizons of English poetry inked in non-English speaking countries. Her poems so often win glamour and accolades. She is a popular poet and the secret behind her poetic fame rests on the pillars of truth, outspoken attitude and beautiful blending of fine thoughts weaved in still more fine words. She says what she feels and that is the thing that makes her lines penetrate deep into the hearts of readers."
- Younas Rehman, Poet (Ex-Official at Civil Services Academy. Lahore, Pakistan)
