Sunita Grover Raina, born on 21/11/1959, is originally from Srinagar (J & K), India and is the third child born of Kashmiri pandit parents. She was raised and had her education in Kolkata, West Bengal. After her schooling at Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School, she graduated with a degree in B. Pharmacy (Honours) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She joined government service in the year 1983 as an Inspector of Drugs, at the Department of Health and Family Welfare, WB and finally retired in the year 2019 as Director of Drugs Control, West Bengal.
