He has a great interest in the complicated and disputed aspects of history and archeology. His book Devdasi Tab aur Ab, published in 2007, is a landmark of his interests. His dedication to cultural values and unfurling the pages of history was shown in the serial Sujata, based on his work Agrashravika Sujata, which was directed by him and telecasted in 1998 in Doordarshan Channel. So is the documentary, Muskurate Patherthat was based on his research paper and telecast from Doordarshan itself. His second Hindi novel, Aanshadaan is under publication.
He is currently working on his next English novel You, Me and My Sinni. This novel underlines the causes of the break-up of families and the significance of social initiation in its restoration.
