“A simple girl, born and brought up in a middle-class family where education is treated as a religion,” that is a gist of the author’s life. Since childhood, she lived to fulfil only one target, i.e., to get the highest marks in the class. Targets are meant to be achieved, but it is not necessary that they are achieved in reality. She was good but not good enough to get into a medical college. So she landed up at a decent engineering college. Just like all other students, she focused more on distractions than on studies. And like others, she fell in love in the beginning of the semester.
This story is inspired by her life story. Break ups are bad, and she went through the same pain millions of youngsters go through these days. She wants to share her experience and how she overcame that pain without doing anything stupid, something which she and her family could be ashamed of. This is an attempt to help youngsters like her, so that they do not make the same mistakes. Youngsters should understand, through this book, that life can be started afresh despite pain, and with time, the pain will disappear.
She studied Bachelor in Technology in GGSIPU. After that, to polish her writing skills, she joined a diploma course in creative writing in English offered by IGNOU. Along with pursuing writing, she works as a software developer in Oslo, Norway. Apart from this book, she has authored two other books: Flexible AC Transmission System and Be Friends with Words.
