Vijay Mirchandani has been a screenwriter and an aspiring novelist for the last five years. This is his first published novel, written when he was in high school. In high school, like many of his friends, he had some trouble learning the English language but was keen on developing his communication skills. The Great Escape was an essay written when he was in Grade 12, where he had to write a story from the perspective of an inanimate object. Though Vijay barely passed this particular assignment, everybody seemed to like his story. It was then that he found his passion for writing and started to improve his writing and communication skills. After many years of working in the corporate world, Vijay decided to pursue his penchant for writing and started as a Screenwriter. Today, after many years of practice and honing his skills, he has finally been able to achieve his dream of writing a children’s novel and pursuing a career in writing.
