Maureen Patz has had a passion for drawing and painting since being a very young child. Not allowed to go to art college, she trained as a mechanical draftsman. Due to her artistic abilities, she was often chosen to work on exploded views of machinery. Her love of drawing and painting heritage warplanes earned her the title of Spitfire Mo. Maureen’s ability to draw was also helpful in the classroom when teaching French to elementary school-age children. She paints as a hobby, and now this first publication of her illustrations is a dream-come-true for her. Maureen lives with her family in Canada.
