The generation before Satbir, has performed many a sacrifice and penance to deliver themselves from love. Mimi is mother to the devoted son, keeping something secret to share many years later. Their small family of two is hit with change, when Aunt Tiara and her daughter come back into their lives. Will Sammaya stand a chance? Or will Sherrie sweep him off his feet?
It is now for Satbir to choose the girl of his dreams, to get it right, and keep his family out of the triangle. It gets muddy and sticky, like the wet sand on his childhood beach.

It is 1961. As the Portuguese beat a hasty retreat, two childhood buddies in a sleepy fishing village of South Goa toy with the idea of wind surfing with ropes and a makeshift balloon- shaped wind parachute. Both Ray and Roy, known as inseparable friends, tussle with survival as does the Portuguese rule on the island. The Indian Army moves in, and Roy finds it difficult to hide on Monkey Island, while Ray struggles at Palolem beach.
Many years later, the spirits of these friends show up with their reincarnation in Bombay city. Their fateful friendship leads to an intertwining of destinies all their life. Kuber Savla, Yug Ikani, Prahlad Ahuja, Siddharth Bhandari and Som Sarkaar meet in the reincarnation at school.
The five complete the Pentagon of bonhomie, their lives following each others from an eventful school picnic in Matheran, where they connect due to Dinshaw.
The five friends share a unique camaraderie. Will they realize the true potential of their re-birth in complex times? Or will they recognize that their discovery of a buried Portuguese treasure which Ray and Roy had left behind on their heritage property, is actually a curse?
Each one thinks the other to be bogus, for theirs is an unnatural entanglement of fate, fun and curiosity with each others lives. Will it be too late to recognize the bogey?
Only angels can save them from ruin.
